Definitions

• “Artist” refers to Graceful Brides.

• “Client” refers to the person responsible for the booking (usually the bride).

 

Client Responsibilities

Allergies & Skin Conditions

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Artist of any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to any application of products.

A trial is strongly recommended to minimise the risk of any reactions. The Artist cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities where this information has not been disclosed in advance.

 

Photography & Marketing

The Artist may request to take photographs of the finished hair and/or makeup for use on social media, website, and promotional materials.

If you would prefer not to have images taken or shared, this must be confirmed in writing prior to your appointment.

 

Bookings & Deposits

A non-refundable but transferable booking fee of £50 is required to secure your wedding date. Dates are not reserved until this fee has been received.

• The booking fee will be deducted from your final balance

• Final numbers may be increased (subject to availability and timings)

• Significant reductions in numbers may still be charged at the originally agreed booking value

The remaining balance is due no later than 6 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Payment of the booking fee confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and secures your contract with Graceful Brides.

 

Trials

Trial appointments are available Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) due to weekend wedding commitments.

• Trials must be paid for in full no later than 7 days prior, or in cash on the day

• Trial payments are non-refundable

• Trials can take place at the Artist’s home studio or at a location agreed in advance

• Additional trials will be charged at the full rate

 

Payments

• All payments are to be made via bank transfer (BACS) unless otherwise agreed

• Prices confirmed at the time of booking are fixed and will not be affected by future price changes

• Discounts for larger bookings may be offered but will be void if numbers are reduced

The Client named on the booking is responsible for all payments and communication.

 

Travel

Travel is included within a 30-mile round trip of Chelmsford (CM2).

Additional travel is charged at £0.50 per mile.
Any parking, tolls, or additional travel-related costs will be added to the final balance.

 

Changes to Bookings

All changes (including numbers, location, timings, or dates) must be confirmed in writing via email and are only valid once acknowledged by the Artist.

• Text messages are not considered confirmed communication

• Availability for changes cannot be guaranteed

If the booking is reduced after confirmation, the original booking value may still apply.

Changes made within 6 weeks of the wedding date may still be charged in full.

 

Cancellations

By the Client

• All payments made are non-refundable

• Wedding bookings must be cancelled in writing at least 6 weeks prior

• Cancellations within 6 weeks will require full payment of the remaining balance

Trial appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

 

By Graceful Brides

In the unlikely event the Artist is unable to attend, every effort will be made to arrange a replacement of equal standard.

If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued. No further compensation will be provided.

 

Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond control (including severe weather), the Artist will make every effort to fulfil the booking.

However, in the event of a Met Office Red Warning, Graceful Brides reserves the right to cancel. In such cases, no additional compensation will be offered.

 

Timings & Preparation

The Client agrees to follow the agreed schedule to ensure the smooth running of the morning.

Graceful Brides is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Other suppliers

• Members of the bridal party

• Late arrivals or unprepared clients

To ensure the best results:

• Hair must be clean, fully dry, and product-free (washed the night before unless advised otherwise)

• Clients should remain seated during their service

 

Health & Safety

For safety reasons:

• Children must be supervised at all times

• Clients must not hold children during services

• Hot tools and professional products must not be handled by anyone other than the Artist

Graceful Brides cannot be held responsible for injuries caused by failure to follow these guidelines.

 

General

The Artist will always aim to deliver the highest standard of service and professionalism. By securing a booking, the Client agrees to all terms outlined above.
